I've worked with MINI TIPI several times and each time it has always been a fun experience. It has been an honour to create photos that represent their brand for their website, social media and print. Seeing how their business continues to evolve and grow has been truly inspiring. Getting a first look at their latest products over the years, it's hard not to want to buy everything. It's soooooo easy to fall head over heels for the softest blankets, stylish ponchos and shawls, and everyday blankets in the most beautiful patterns and colours.
This local women-run business is committed to creating a line of unique goods that are practical, useful but also stylish and beautifully made. They have combined their respective backgrounds (Ojibway, Québécoise and Canadian) into everything they do from their business name down to the prints and designs they carefully select for each product. Business is thriving for Mel and Trish as you can see by the growing list of retailers carrying their work across Canada and overseas. Their company was also included in British Vogue as part of 'Vogue's Little Lookbook' in the September 2019 issue - the one that was guest-edited by Meghan Markle. Kind of a big deal, no?! I was so incredibly proud to see the photo I took (the last photo in the gallery below) as the one MINI TIPI chose for the feature. Most likely the first and last time my name will be anywhere in British Vogue. Thank you MINI TIPI!
