Newborn sessions hold a special place in my heart. Families invite me into their homes at a very vulnerable time - the weight and privilege of this fact is not lost on me. I walk in with a deep respect, without judgement and a flexibility to capture moments as they come without pressure. Another element that I love about these sessions is that parents are so wrapped up in their newness of everything that it's often easier for them to be in the moment and fully present as a family. This little girl was a pro, with a calm and quiet energy. I loved documenting the closeness and love between this new family of 3.
